some pics while i wait for katie's bus :)

here are a few more pictures for you. the first is of some sort of union protest or something! katie and i were walking around near Puerta del Sol (near school) when we heard all of these whistles and chanting behind us... we turn around and see a FLOOD of people carrying signs and blowing whistles and chanting something about "where's our money", so we assume it's a union? it was really funny because all of the people seemed to be older business people...not the usual protesters that i'm used to seeing... kinda cool, i guess! i have a video of it too. i'll see if that will upload. last time i tried a video it didnt work though... so. yeah.


second pic is of a "walk thru" mcdonalds! there are several of these in madrid! instead of drive-thrus they have windows that you walk up to for "express service". i think its awesome. how many people have i heard stories from who tried to walk thru a drive thru when it's the only thing open so late at night... they always get turned away! Josh, didnt you guys try that since the tour bus was too big for the window?? anyways. i think the walk up idea is funny :)
